We may have heard about the G-Spot and the amazing effect it has on female orgasms. Sex toys for her has become quite popular in women nowadays to stimulate the G-spot. We may have even tried different sex techniques and G-spot positions to find it. But just what is the G-spot and can we find it?
The G-spot, otherwise known as the Grafenberg spot, is the area of the female vagina thought to contain an erogenous zone which when stimulated can lead to high levels of sexual arousal and very intense orgasms. The existence of the G-spot is still disputed among scientific circles although there is a lot of anecdotal evidence testifying to its existence and to the positive effect stimulation to it creates. Research on this particularly elusive part of the female anatomy has been going on since 1981.
The G-spot for females is supposedly usually located about one to three inches inside the vagina on the rear part of the vaginal wall towards the front. So a g-spot position would be a position in sexual intercourse aimed at stimulating this particular part of the vagina. However, scientific examinations of vaginal walls have shown that there is no particular area which contains a greater concentration of nerve cells.
Researchers speculate that the G-spot could probably be the urethral sponge which does contain nerve endings and erectile tissue. The urethral sponge is a spongy cushion of tissue found in the lower genital area of women that sits against both the pubic bone and vaginal wall. It also surrounds the urethra and the clitoral nerve. The erectile tissue of the urethral sponge becomes swollen with blood during sexual arousal. This effect compresses the urethra helping prevent urination during sexual intercourse.
Stimulation of the G-spot is said to induce female ejaculation. This phenomenon occurs when there is a copious amount of clear fluid from the paraurethral ducts expelled by a woman during or before orgasms. For better orgasm, it's better if we would gather more tips on how to reach orgasm. As with the existence of the G-spot whether female ejaculation exists or not is still a much debated topic among researchers.
Whether the G-spot exists or not is immaterial to the health of your sexual relationship, however. For whether it exists or not should not stop you in engaging in sexual exploration with your partner and finding new ways in romance for couples.
